Only known from Argentina.
 
There are photographs of adults of both sexes in the original description (Carpintero & De Biase, 2018) and a key for the identification of the three species of Eocader . In Froeschner (1996) there is summarized information regarding the genus and, a key for the recognition of the Phatnomatini genera. Also there is a key to identificate the Cantacaderinae from Argentina and Chile in Carpintero & Montemayor (2008). The species is only known from its type locality, Puerto Libertad, in the province of Misiones.
