There are illustrations of the adult of the species in the original description (Drake & Hambleton, 1934), in Froeschner (1996), and of the fifth nymph in Guilbert (2005). In Froeschner (1996) there is summarized information regarding the genus and a key for the recognition of the Phatnomatini genera. Also there is a photograph of the species and a key to identificate the Cantacaderinae from Argentina and Chile in Carpintero & Montemayor (2008). In Carpintero & De Biase (2018) it is presented a key for the identification of the three species of Eocader . The species was recorded for the first time for Argentina in en Carpintero & Montemayor (2008) for the provinces of Misiones and Buenos Aires.
