Head light brown (in other Conocephalus species green). Tegmina in males about twice as long as pronotum. Females with short upcurved ovipositor. Reclusive insects, active at day, male calling also at night. Adults appear from February to early May. On wet meadows, in open vegetation near lakeshores, and understory of coastal woodland of the Río de la Plata. 14 mm.
