Also known from Brazil (Stål 1860; Wolski et al. 2020).
 
Material studied by Stål deposited at Swedish Museum of Natural History (Stål 1860).
The specimen mentioned from Misiones (Argentina) by Carpintero et al. 2006 as Valdasus bolivianus Carvalho 1989 seems closer of V. schoenherri than V. bolivianus; the presence of the true V. bolivianus in Argentina remains to be confirmed (Wolski et al. 2020).
