Male Holotype and a Female Paratype deposited at National Museum of Natural History, Washington; a female paratype deposited at Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales "Bernardino Rivadavia" (Wolski & Henry 2012).
This species was misidentified as Peritropis unicolor by Carpintero et al. 2006 (Wolski & Henry 2012).
