Holotype deposited at MACN (Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales "Bernardino Rivadavia”, Buenos Aires, Argentina (Bachmann 1999); and one paratype deposited at the Triatomines Collection of the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (CTIOC), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (Mourão Dos Santos Rodrigues et al. 2015).
