Known from Brazil and Paraguay (Lent & Wygodzinsky 1954).
Holotype and 22 paratypes deposited at the Triatomines Collection of the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (CTIOC), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (Mourão Dos Santos Rodrigues et al. 2015); and two paratypes deposited at MACN (Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales "Bernardino Rivadavia”, Buenos Aires, Argentina (Bachmann 1999).
