Observations
The type material was deposited in the collection of the National Museum of Rio de Janeiro (MNRJ) so it is presumed that it was lost as a result of the fire that occurred in 2018. This species is only known from its type locality, El Dorado, in the Misiones province (Monte, 1943). There is no further information regarding its biology or host plants.
