Disease relations: unknown.
Habitat and breeding sites
Immature stages have been found in streams associated with densely grown land vegetation, such as grasses and aquatic plants. Water is usually fresh and shaded. Adults show anthropophilic habits, and the species has been usually found near human settlements in the modified environment.
