Female Holotype of Psallus minutulus Reuter 1908 deposited at the Natural History Museum Vienna, Austria (Schuh & Schwartz 1985). Holotype of Rhinacloa forticornis Reuter 1876 is deposited at the Swedish Museum of Natural History (Schuh & Schwartz 1985). According to these authors the type of Rhinacloa incerta Reuter 1908 could not be found in the Natural History Museum Vienna, Austria.
In Peru is a predator of eggs and young larvae of Heliothis virescens (Fabricius) (Butler 1965). It is also an enemy of spider mites and aphids in cotton fields in California, USA (Butler 1965).
