Also known from Brazil (Stål 1860), Colombia (Álvarez-Zapata et al. 2022), Peru (Carvalho & Afonso 1977; Cravalho & Ferreira 1972) and Ecuador (Carvalho & Afonso 1977).
 
Material studied by Stål is desposited at Swedish Museum of Natural History (Stål 1860) and it has been identified as type.
It was collected in Chanchamayo and Satipo (Peru) in citrus tree and papaya tree (Arellano & Vergara 2016).
