  • Caulotops puncticollis Bergroth 1898
Type deposited at Museo de La Plata (Coscarón & Carpintero 1996). This female holotype apparently is lost, so a male has been designated as the Neotype (Henry & Menard 2020).
Also, a female lectotype and the paralectotypes have been selected for Caulotops puncticollis, and are deposited at Finnish Museum of Natural History, Helsinki (Henry & Menard 2020).
According to Henry & Menard 2020 Eryngium agavifolium is an incidental host and the true host remains to be discovered.
