Holotype deposited at British Museum of Natural History (Carvalho & Dolling 1976).
This species has been observed preying Liriomyza trifolii (Diptera: Agromyzidae), larvae and pupae of Heliothentines (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae), larvae and pupae of Pieris rapae (Lepidoptera: Pieridae), Dysmicoccus brevipes (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae) on Ananas comosus, nymphs and adults of Tupiocoris notatus (Hemiptera: Miridae) on Nicotiana tabacum, Aphids on Solanum lycopersicum and Bemisia tabaci (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae) (Nogueira et al 2019).
