Large numbers of adults of this species were found under bark, in rodent caves and edentados under stones attacking nymphs of Triatoma rubrovaria and T. infestans in Liebig, Entre Ríos province (Carpintero 1981).
The offspring and adults were reared in the laboratory and fed with larvae of Spodoptera frugiperda (Smith, 1797) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) (Gil-Santana et al. 2013).
It was was found inside a corn field without information on the prey of this species (Gil-Santana et al. 2013). Also found in nests of Furnarius rufus (Furnariidae) in Argentina (Turienzo & Di Iorio 2010).
