  • Gargaphia subpilosa Berg, 1879.
The type material was deposited in the collection of the National Museum of Rio de Janeiro (MNRJ) so it is presumed that it was lost as a result of the fire that occurred in 2018. The species is illustrated in the original description (Monte, 1940), Drake (1948) synonymyze G. bergi with G. subpilosa , and Montemayor & Dellapé (2010), raised G. bergi from synonymy. In this last work adults and nymphs are illustrated, the life cycle is described and sysmatical aspects are discussed and it is presented distributional information of the species in Argentina.
