In Champion (1898) there is an illustration of type of the species and in Champion (1897-1901)) there is a key to identify it from some other species of Teleonemia and an illustration of the species. Silva (1956) also provides an illustration. This species has been considered a potential biocontrol agent of Lantana camara (Guidotti et al. 2015), it has even been released in Australia but the populations were not stablished successfully (Day & Neser 2000; Zalucki et al. 2007).
Acacia riparida; Cinchona sp.; Lantana camara; Solanaceae.
